How to Install Ubuntu Tweak ?

The handy Ubuntu Tweak application lets you change an amazing amount of little settings within Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. If there’s some little thing about Ubuntu that just annoys you, odds are that you can change it with Ubuntu Tweak. Here’s how to install it.

You can obtain the .deb installer file for Ubuntu Tweak from here:


If you have a 32 bit system, you’ll want the i386 variant, and if you have a 64-bit system, you’ll want the amd64 version.


Once the .deb file has finished downloading, double-click on it to launch the installer. Enter your password when asked, and the installer will install Ubuntu Tweak and its necessary dependencies. After the installation is finished, you can launch Ubuntu Tweak by going to the Applications menu, to System Tools, and then by clicking on Ubuntu Tweak.
